Alrighty nekkeds ~ pay attention ~ We love Weed ~ got weed?
Cause we got Weed ~ Tara, Colton, Kevin, and Brenon Weed. Good stuff.
Meet Weed ~ Starting on the top right is Kevin, Tara, and Brenon. Colton is the baby Weed that is in Austin's arms in the middle ~ also the focus of the picture below.
We met these guys over the internet as they were stalking us ruthlessly. We had to feature them as barenakedfamilies because they are dangerous people and should be avoided. Kevin bit Colton's hand off right after this picture was taken. It's healing up just fine because Colton has unusual powers that are not of this world. Seriously. 'Don't look for the answers' and 'I know everything' is completely normal statements coming from the mouths of Colton. It's very believable coming from this amazing child.
Brenon is the incredible quiet one until you get him alone or with the girls ~ a real ladies man, this one.
Tara's a, well, hoot ~ and we really hate that expression.

We've had loads of fun teaching Colton tricks. Here he's learning 'Rock on Dude'.
And here he's just rockin' on... Like we said, amazing child ~ he knows something we don't.
And it's no wonder he's amazing ~ This entire family is very cool and fun to hang around. After they contacted us over the internet, we first met them in San Antonio and they joined us for some time at Greg's moms place ~ Granny's Farm. We also had great Mexican food with them on the riverwalk. Then they went to Florida and we have hooked back up with them in San Diego. You should look at a map 'cause that's pretty dang cool. These guys have been living in an RV and traveling for something like five years now. Kevin is in construction and oversees the build out of retail stores across the country. Tara home schools their two boys and Colton was actually born during their life on the road. Kevin was raised in the Denver, CO area and Tara in the New England area. They met while attending college and worked together in high end retail for many years before having babies. They have lived in some way cool places like Salem, Mass, New York City, and Beverly Hills, CA before hitting the road full time. It's very strange seeing them driving around in a unique truck outfitted just like Ed Nodlands (our friends at RoadSchool.com). They also live in and tow a large fifth wheel travel trailer with bunks in the back. It's a cool setup.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the Weeds friendship and humor. They are a great family to hang out with and we will be sorry to be away from them when they take on their next job in some part of this county building out another cool retail store for us all to go enjoy. It's nice to know they are out there and that we'll run into them in different parts of the country for years to come.
