Dick's is a great place! I was on a business trip so I didn't get to take my kids but brought back T-shirts. (now I moved from Okla to Michigan don't know when I will get back that way..but I LOVE the West End). I totally agree with your views on kid's and the importance of explaining this crazy world. Enjoyed your site! Teresa

Forgive me it's on the site and I missed it: do you have a projected date for when you want to open Dirty Sneakers to the public? I got a flyer abut this at Pecan Street and came to check out your website... Thanks, Melanie in Austin mmuenchinger@grandecom.net

Hey, Greg! You probably don't remember me, but I used to work at Dell and remember you... :) Shannon Carter... I worked mostly in software support, but I think back when you knew me, I was working in Dimension support (yeah, when we sold 386's off the shelf at Sam's with the dog food and the diapers... MAN that was a long time ago...). Since then, I worked for 5 years for a database company and then retired when my first child was born. We currently have two kids, Shae's 3 years old and Simon's 15 months old. Great to hear that you're living your dream. When you plan to swing back through Austin, shoot me an email at <shan@quixnet.net>, and let's get together for coffee or something. I'd love to hear how you're doing and meet the family. Warning... Scott & I are some of those conservatives you love so much to annoy... ;) God bless! Shan :)

Dear BarenakedFamily- This is Lansing the Dancing bear signing in from one of your haunts-Asutin TX- although we haven't consciuosly (creative spelling is a virtue I believe ;-) run into each other to the best of my beleif in this town or life....yet. Your site ROCKS! I am the oldest of 7 kids- an uncle of 13 neices and nephews who are from Japan, El Salvador, Dominica and good old fashioned white bread USA- and I was persuing RV sites because my mom- the crazy grandmother of this wild brood- has always had travelling around with her grand kids as a dream of hers. You are all an inspiration to all us other 'closet case family-wanna hit the road RV capret baggers." Thanks for your wonderful site- I have one too- of my family- not as polished as yours yet - but I'm getting there. Be good and Goddess bless! We are all one, There is enough. The outcome is assured. You are that. Everything happens. Isn't the truth sweet? -Lansing the Dancing Bear (Bicknell) Austin, TX (and yeah- our town does rock!)

Hey Greg (and family)! I just moved back to California and was surfing for something else and ran across your site again. I got to camp with your neice, two nephews, brother, sister n law, and my dad about a month ago. Got to visit with Jimmy and some friends of Patti and James too. We had a really good time. Got to hang out at the lake and play with the kids (who are huge by the way). Patti and James really know how to make camping fun and comfortable! The kids are growing so fast and Trey reminds me of Froto baggins! Dusty is working on his poker face for playing Texas hold em! He is getting pretty good too. Ashleigh is just as gorgeous as ever! What can I say other than she must get it from me! HA!! I can see you guys are doing very well and I am glad to see that. Hope things continue to go well for you. Write back if you can, Love, Jo (Ann Neisler) Phillips Jo@sjeco.net

YEAH, Melrose Place City Limits... I loved catching up with you via the amazing website. All is well. I just had the most amazing mix engineer, Tony Phillips, start working on mixing my first single. More to be revealed. I-Tunes will be featuring it in 1 month! I have a gig this Saturday 9/4/04 - - back @ Highland @ 9 pm. My band is amazing - I've got 2 British hotties on Bass and guitar, and my irreplaceable writing/producing paht-nah Dan Marfisi on drums, and the sexy, amazing, talented playwright/singer, Courtney Rundell, backing me on vocals. I am SO HAPPY. B.T.W. BENNY HAS A FULL ON MOWHAWK. I did it. If you dare me, I will represent! Yo. More on that later. I love y'all. xooo me

Good going guys! My husband saw your "Thing" in Escondido, CA. where he works. He was intrigued, so he looked up your web site. He was excited and passed the web address on to me. Once again, good going guys! I have been weeding out "stuff" lately in order to lighten our load. I remember that some of the best times of our life as a family were when we could NOT afford cable TV and cable modem. It prodded us into interacting.... What a concept! You are inspiring and if you are still around, swing by Vista, CA to say hi! Nancy Jane nancyjane@cox.net

In the newscast she saw, she probably heard us say we won the 'mental' lottery ~ meaning we're doing what we would do if money were no object. If/when we win the lottery, we'll have a Prevost tour bus. Love you guys, barenakedfamily
